Endangered Species

What happened to that man
That wanted to hold your hand
And wasn't ashamed to wear his band

What happened to that man
That wanted to court you
And cater to you without tell him to

What happened to that man
That loved opening doors
And didn't complain about his man chores

What happened to that man
That took care of home first
And not try to recite lies that he had rehearsed

What happened to that man
That thought it was a crime to not work
And still rub your feet when they hurt

What happened to that man
That took you out
And made sure you had a good time without a doubt

What happened to that man
That did nice things for any season
And really never had to have a reason

What happened to that man
That wanted to put a smile on your face
And still managed not to crowd your space

What happened to that man
That truly care about your happiness
And made efforts not to be selfish

What happened to that man
Did we stop appreciating that man
Encouraging that man
Loving that man
Uplifting that man
Supporting that man
Wanting that man
Lord, can you please bring back that man

(It's like a needle in a hay stack) I believe this man do exist somewhere out there....lol.

Not by Chance Only by Faith

You have kidnapped my heart
And you made sure there were no witnesses
Not even sure if I want it back
I have yet to put out an Amber Alert
Contemplating on pressing charges
'Cause I fell hard for you
Watching a beauty unfold
Into something I call 'Utopia'
Most people will never grasp
That deep affection
Which will have you spun
So tight
Like a cocoon
To whom your desire
Radiate like a ray of sun
Setting on the West side
Of my hemisphere
Loving you is what I use to fear
But I could not deny Law of Attraction
Or let a woman's scorn
Ruin my sweet sensation
You give off an ultra high frequency
And I'm tuned in
To your touch
Your kiss
You spirit
That you devote
Unconditionally
You devour every bit of my being
And mentally I have you on flight
Wondering where your next destination
Of arrival will be
You've landed on intimacy
Submerged by passion
Only coming up for air
My mountain of resistant
Have crumbled from the avalanche
And I'm trying to dig my way out
You got me wrapped in tenderness
Like a twist tie
I promise I won't fight anymore to get loose
Am where I want to be
Because I know you are my destiny
