Emotionally Unavailable

I'm trying to wrap my mind around this

You only want me when it's suitable to fit your personal needs
But get pissed
When someone else shows interest
There's a void that needs to be filled
But only temporarily
You could save us both the heartache
Then to partake in bartering the ass
For something you’re not willing to give
You are blinded by the things you can see
When you should be focused on what you can't
I've noticed you're a collector of expensive taste
And trying to add to your trophy case
Loving me, was never your intention
But wanting to put your love inside me was my premonition
Your scrambling to fight the feeling
Without even sampling
The one thing you've been in pursuit of
Truth is, I want all of you

Every waking moment

I yearn for you

Sip after sip turn into shots

Thoughts fade

Just for a little while

As I consume you

My eyes leak flammable liquid

And didn't complain about his man chores

That took care of home first
And not try to recite lies that he had rehearsed

That thought it was a crime to not work
And still rub your feet when they hurt

That did nice things for any season
And really never had to have a reason

And made efforts not to be selfish
